Obtain a work visa for Canada in 2022:
Postgraduate Worker Permit (PGWP)
The validity length of the study program for this visa can be up to three years. This is one way of acquiring Canadian work experience that could ultimately guide the candidate to permanent residency. The applicants who have graduated from a designated learning institute then the PGWP is a remarkable route to get a genuine work visa. The applicants will be free to work within Canada for any employer when they receive an open job visa.

Graduates will need to send their proposals to the PGWP within 180 days once they get their final marks.
What criteria will you need to qualify?
You will be required to hold either a degree, diploma or certificate from a designated learning institute of eight months minimum, be a full-time student for each course, graduated from a Canadian secondary, school or post-secondary school (including college university or technical school that is responsible for degrees under regional law).
Canadian working holiday visa
The working holiday visa is superb for individuals who would like to earn a living while studying in Canada with a validity from 12 to 24 months. While the duration of the stay will be specified by your country. Only 35 countries are permitted to apply for this visa who have a youth mobility agreement with Canada.
So how can you apply?
Step 1:

What is an Open Work Visa?

You should have a good medical history and good health.
This stream is widely chosen by employers that aim to discover highly skilled employees with a processing time of up to two weeks. It will help to address the labor gaps of in-demand professions in Canada. The professions that are found in global talent stream category are
- Information systems analysts
- Consultants
- Digital media designers
- Computer network technicians
- ETC…
In-Home Caregivers
The in-home caregivers stream permits Canadian families to employ international citizens who are capable of providing care in private residences to elder citizens, children and people with disabilities. If Canadians or permanent residents are not available. Employers may request their caregivers to stay with them. Caregivers for people with high medical needs and for children are the Two categories for in-home caregivers.
1- Caregivers for people with high medical needs, people with disabilities chronic or terminal illnesses, people above the age of 65. Positions in this category include
- Attendant for persons with disabilities
- Home Support Worker
- Live-in Caregiver
- Personal Care Attendant
- Licensed practical Nurse
- Registered Nurse
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse
2- Caregivers for children
For Children below the age of 18
This category includes positions such as live in caregiver, child care provider, Nanny.
Agriculture Stream
In this category, Employers can hire foreign workers temporarily for the agriculture related jobs, where the primary job occupation is On-Land Farming. Means that the work or duty of a foreign worker must within the Farm, Nursery or Greenhouse.
The job occupations eligible for this category are related to these NOC codes.
NOC Code 8432, 0821, 8252, 8431, 0822, 8255 & 8611.
I am Abhjit, from India. My fiance got a postdoc (researcher) position in the Lakehead University, and the university send her the offer letter and the offer of employment number. Also note that the position is under the category of LMIA-exempt job. When we apply through IRCC website for work permit, after completing some of the required questioners, we getting the result:
” Foreign worker – International Mobility Program ( visitor’s visa required + no work permit)”
Then it is asking for continue to fill up the corresponding application.
Is this the correct way? Why it is showing no work permit when we require a work permit?
