Now, Canadian Immigration has launched a new Pilot Program “Recognized Employer Pilot“ (REP) under which foreigners can get a 3 Year Canada Work Permit. The first phase of this pilot program has already started from September 2023. 4 job occupations are eligible for the first phase.
Starting January 2024, in the 2nd phase of this pilot program, 88 job occupations will be eligible for 3 years Canada Work Permit. The list of these 88 occupations can be found on Canadian Immigration IRCC Official Website HERE.

These are some of the High Demand Occupations which are eligible for 3 Years Canada Work Permit from January 2024 under Recognized Employer Pilot Program of Canadian Immigration.
In an official statement from IRCC “Recognized employers can benefit from validity periods of up to 36 months for LMIA applications that receive a positive decision. They can also access a simplified LMIA application when hiring additional workers.”
A 36 months valid LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) means foreigners can get 3 Years Canada Work Permit. It will be a temporary work permit and can be renewed. If a foreign worker get a job offer from a Recognized employer in one of these 88 occupations, the employer will then submit LMIA Application, upon approval the work permit can be applied to IRCC.
