AIP is serving 4 Atlantic Provinces Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Designated Employers from these four provinces can hire skilled workers and international graduates under Atlantic Immigration Program to fill the labour shortage issue.

This is an employer driven program, means the initial application for your immigration process must be submitted by your employer who is offering a job. But not every employer can make a job offer under Atlantic Immigration program AIP.

To hire any Foreign Worker, employers are required to get Designated by the province in which they are located. We have already seen the List of Designated Employers published by Newfoundland and Labrador.

Once any employer endorse the applicant’s position, the applicant then can apply directly to Canadian Federal Immigration Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada for the Permanent Residency PR of Canada .
