Eight Express Entry Draw in 2023 and 2nd in March 2023. It is a great news for all those people around the globe willing to Immigrate to Canada.
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to apply (ITAs) to 7,000 candidates in the latest Express Entry draw of 2023. This draw was an all-program draw, which means candidates from the three Express Entry Streams Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) got the Invitations.
These 7,000 candidates achieved the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 484. The CRS score in the Express Entry pool based on several factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and more. The highest-scoring candidates receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.
A similar Express Entry draw was held on March 15th, 2023 and the exact same number of candidates got the ITAs in that draw also. We’ve seen before that mostly the Express Entry Draws were out with a 14-day gap, but this time it’s a second Draw in a month with a 7-day gap. The minimum CRS Score in the previous draw was 490.
Once a candidate receives an ITA, they get 60 days to submit their application to IRCC. After that, an IRCC officer will review the application and decide if the applicant is approved.
It’s important to note that the Express Entry draws early in 2023 focused mostly on candidates in the Express Entry Streams under different Provincial Nominee Programs. Looks like, IRCC is now back to its regular procedure of considering all candidates in the Express Entry pool.
So, if you’re interested in immigrating to Canada, you should check if you meet the eligibility criteria for any of the three economic immigration programs and enter the Express Entry pool. You never know, you might receive an ITA in the next draw.
